The program costs $5,000 with accommodation and a $700-an-hour fee for the divorce lawyer's time, according to the newspaper. For simple, amicable divorces, DivorceHotel claims the condensed schedule can still be cheaper than the traditional process, which can take months and rack up $15,000 to $20,000 in fees.
DivorceHotel.com instructs the independent mediators who facilitate divorces to think of the end of a marriage as a new beginning. It may not be that simple for couples ending their marriage, but at least you come out with a signed agreement, and soon, a T-shirt.
