After-hours buzz: Nordstrom, Noodles, Rocket Fuel & more

- The retailer reported fourth-quarter earnings of $1.32 per share on $4.04 billion in revenue, compared to forecasts of $1.35 a share on $4.01 billion in revenue, while same-store sales come in better-than-expected. Shares dropped nearly 3 percent after the announcement.

- Shares of the the fast-casual chain plunged 18 percent after it reported fourth-quarter earnings and revenue that trailed expectations. Comparable store sales came in at 1.3 percent, versus 1.7 percent estimates.

- The company reported a narrower-than expected fourth-quarter loss, but sales of $140 million missed projections for $147 million in revenue, which sent the stock tumbling some 20 percent in after-hours trading.

- The chipmaker beat fourth-quarter profit estimates by a penny, but revenue of $857 million failed to meet forecasts for $890 million. The company also issued weak first-quarter guidance. Shares fell more than 5 percent in extended trading.

- The Turbotax maker posted an adjusted second-quarter loss of 6 cents a share, which was narrower than the loss of 13 cents per share Wall Street analysts had expected. The tax software provider also beat revenue forecasts, sending shares more than 3 percent higher in after-hours trading.

- The gold miner beat Street estimates on both top and bottom lines, sending its shares up 2 percent in after-hours trading.
