The shift by Amy Pascal from Sony Pictures co-chair to her new gig as on-the-lot producer has reportedly gotten clouded thanks to a lingering pot stench.
Pascal delayed moving into her new office space, which was most recently shared by actor Seth Rogen and director Evan Goldberg, because the smell of marijuana has been hard to eradicate, according to a report from The Hollywood Reporter.
Neighbors would often complain about marijuana fumes seeping from the office when Rogen and Goldberg occupied it, the article said.

Rogen acknowledged the article via Instagram. "I don't know what's more irresponsible: that they would print a story that is completely untrue, or that they would refer to how pot smells as a 'stench,'" he posted.
The actor has spoken out publicly about his marijuana use in the past. He told Elle magazine in 2008, "I guess I could say I have a terrible case of I-wanna-smoke-weed-all-day," according to the report.
Pascal plans to paint the office in an effort to eliminate the smell, however, a source downplayed the problem and said she plans to paint for decorative purposes, the article said. Pascal will stay in a temporary space until the job is done.
Sony declined to comment, according to the report.
