E-commerce company Etsy plans to sell 16.7 million shares priced between $14 and $16 per share in an initial public offering, it said on Tuesday.

At $16 per share, the offering would raise more than $260 million. It was not immediately clear where the Brooklyn, New York-based company's total valuation would stand after the IPO.

Etsy plans to list on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker "ETSY." Underwriters on the deal will include Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley, Etsy said.

It expects to launch a roadshow for its IPO on Wednesday.

Founded in 2005, Etsy has built an online marketplace that connects artists with global buyers. Earlier this month, the company had 1.4 million active sellers and 19.8 million active buyers in its network.

Etsy's revenue jumped 56 percent to $195.6 million last year.
