Expect the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao fight to provide a substantial boost to the Las Vegas economy, reality star and pawn shop owner Rick Harrison said Friday.

"Hundreds of millions of dollars will be spent there this weekend," said Harrison, whose Gold and Silver Pawn Shop is the subject of the History Channel show "Pawn Stars."

"It's absolute insanity in Vegas this weekend."

The highly anticipated bout takes place on Saturday night at the MGM Grand, and Harrison expects those who lose money in the fight to start showing up at his door that same night.

"At my pawn shop alone, we have a lot of extra security," he said.

Harrison also weighed in on the state of the consumer. On Friday, a new report showed U.S. consumer sentiment rose in April to its highest level since 2007.

"My sales are right around steady with last year. It's not up or it's not down," he said

While some may think that a pawn shop's business runs counter to the economy, Harrison said that's not the case.

"If the economy is bad, I might be bringing a lot of things in but it's difficult to sell, and the opposite when the economy is good."
