If you're bullish on Apple, you may get a chance to buy the shares at a discount this week.

History shows the Worldwide Developers Conference beginning Monday usually doesn't live up to the high bar set by Apple's other product events, according to Kensho, a quantitative data tool.

The conference, directed at developers working with Apple's ecosystem, is already shaping up to be a bit of disappointment as reports show a blockbuster product launch like a reboot of its TV box is not in the cards.
