Thirty-year-old copies of Berkshire Hathaway's annual reports are being sold on eBay for thousands of dollars as sellers try to cash in on Warren Buffett's "investing wisdom."

Known as the "Oracle of Omaha," Buffett is widely admired for an investment track record that made him a billionaire through his investment company. Berkshire Hathaway, which currently has a market cap of $312 billion, has seen its share price soar over 70,000 percent since 1980 alone.

Sellers are now touting the 1980s shareholder reports as precious sources of valuable investment advice.

The most expensive copy currently listed covers the 1980 shareholders meeting and is selling for $2,050 on eBay.

A "super rare" hard copy of the 1986 annual report is going for a relatively cheap $325, and is touted as "pure solid gold loaded with investing wisdom."

"This particular Berkshire Hathaway annual report is famous because in it Buffett detailed his method for valuing companies, including describing "owner earnings" vs. reported earnings and why it's important," the seller, who goes by the handle "sfryj" explained on the product page.

If that wasn't enough, sfryj stresses that only 500 people attended the 1986 shareholders meeting, compared to the near-40,000 that attended in 2015.

"This is 61 pages of chicken soup for the investing soul," the seller wrote.

An even larger group will have access to this year's annual meeting, with Berkshire Hathaway set to stream their event dubbed the "Woodstock for capitalists" online for the first time this spring.

Still, it might not hurt to hold on to those reports.
