It's that time again! Jim Cramer rang the lightning round bell, which means he gave his take on caller favorite stocks at rapid speed:
Hertz: "I read all those activists ... I'm not there. I think this industry is being destroyed Uber, OK. I'm going to put this out there and say it. I don't want to touch it because of Uber, that's why."
National Oilwell Varco: "Holy cow, this stock has now bottomed ... I do not have a case to buy it because my charitable trust owns Schlumberger, but I understand and I see the bottom."
Illumina: "Illumina missed the quarter and Thermo Fisher made the quarter. TMO with Marc Casper [CEO] is who you bet on."
Westlake Chemical Corp: "Why do you need that? Dow and DuPont are merging. With Ed Breen running the company, come on let's not overthink it."
Time Warner: "Time Warner, that's run by Jeff Bewkes. He is a great American and we are representatives of Bewkes America. We are buyers."
