Mark Cuban fires back at Jack Welch over Clinton Foundation

Billionaire Mark Cuban has picked another fight on Twitter, this time with former General Electric CEO Jack Welch.

Cuban fired back in support of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, asking for an example of an instance where Welch was "able to buy 'pay for play' from [the] Clintons."

@mcuban: .@jack_welch @Austan_Goolsbee @megynkelly You have money. Access. Give one example where you were able to buy "pay for play" from Clintons ?

Welch had criticized his "old acquaintance" Austan Goolsbee, former chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers for the Obama administration, after his appearance on Fox News' "The Kelly File." During the segment, Goolsbee and another guest, Marc Thiessen, fellow at the American Enterprise Institute and a Fox News contributor, debated whether or not emails from Clinton's time as secretary of state demonstrate that one of her aides was doing favors for Clinton Foundation donors.

Goolsbee said that the only way that argument held up is if that was "the only reason why she was meeting with foreign leaders." Meetings with foreign leaders are a routine part of the State Department's diplomatic efforts.

Cuban has been an outspoken critic of GOP nominee Donald Trump. The Dallas Mavericks owner formally endorsed Clinton at a rally in Pittsburgh earlier this summer.
