The "Fast Money" traders debated how to invest as home prices sit just 1 percent shy of their 2006 peak before the housing bubble burst.
June marked 50 consecutive months of annual national home price appreciation, with prices up 33 percent from that bottom in 2012, according to a new report from Black Knight Financial Services.
Trader Steve Grasso said that homebuilder stocks like KB Home and PulteGroup will benefit from more first-time home buyers.
Trader Tim Seymour said he likes PulteGroup and Masco in the homebuilders. The latter has surged nearly 35 percent in the past year.
Trader Guy Adami said Williams Sonoma could see a bounce as short interest in the stock approaches 20 percent.
