It's that time again! Jim Cramer rang the lightning round bell, which means he gave his take on caller favorite stocks at rapid speed:
Old Republic International: "That is a stay-the-course insurance company. It's an old, good company. Travelers reports next week, that one is good, too. That one is fine and I like the dividend."
Quest Diagnostics Inc: "Do you know this stock got hit when Theranos was starting to roar, and then since Theranos kind of imploded it has been going up? I think it has gone up too much. At this level don't buy."
STMicroelectronics: "It's one of those stocks that a lot of people feel is going to get a takeover bid. I don't know. I think the stock has had a nice move. It still remains inexpensive. I still like the semiconductor space. Watch this NVIDIA coming down, that could be an opportunity."
PBF Energy: "Refining, I am not there. I prefer to have let's just say, I like the yield from the master limited partnerships. Maybe buy a basket of master limited partnerships. It might be a good idea."
Cerner Corporation: "I'm glad you used the term 'long term' ... because short term I think that Cerner is a little shaky here. But longer term I really like any company that gives you a healthcare solution that brings down the cost of healthcare. That is a secular-positive story."
Trade Desk: "We all think that one is way too dangerous."
Advanced Micro Devices: "They report next week. They did a big refinancing, which I was in favor. That caused a lot of people to think it was not going to be taken over. I don't recommend stocks on a takeover basis, but I think AMD is coming back though. But don't be surprised, maybe buy some before [earnings] and some after. There could be a little sell-off."
