Business Wire Berkshire Hathaway Chairman Warren Buffett and Business Wire President and CEO Cathy Baron Tamraz |
Warren Buffett heads to Toronto tomorrow (Wednesday, February 6) to appear at an event for "investor relations and corporate communications professionals" drawing attention to Business Wire's expansion into Canada.
A Business Wire spokesman tells me this afternoon that the event is not open to the general public. (We will let you know what happens, however, right here on Warren Buffett Watch.)
A news release just out on Business Wire, a 2006 Berkshire Hathaway acquisition that distributes corporate news releases, says "A Conversation with Warren Buffett" will be moderated by Business Wire CEO Cathy Baron Tamraz.
It's scheduled for the Toronto Board of Trade, Downtown Centre, from 4:00p to 5:30p ET. There will be a question-and-answer period.
