Lightning Round: Whole Foods, Vale, U.S. Steel and More

Tuesday, 19 Aug 2008 | 11:18 PM ET

Clean Energy Fuels : “Very speculative.” Cramer said a November initiative in California could be a boon to natural gas and at that point CLNE could see a nice five-point jump.

Talbots :Urban Outfitters and TJX are better retail stocks, Cramer said.

Lightning Round
You say the name of a stock, and Mad Money's Jim Cramer tells you whether to buy or sell.

Vale : This is a commodities bear market, so RIO has come down. And while Cramer said he sees value in this stock, Vale is a “don’t buy.”

VeriSign :Google is the only internet stock Cramer will recommend right now, he said. And even GOOG “is not for the squeamish.”

Whole Foods : Cramer can’t get behind WFMI, he said. Sell, sell, sell.

Tesoro : Refiners can’t be owned right now, Cramer said. Don’t buy.

U.S. Steel : Cramer would rather see investors in Nucor.

Foster Wheeler : Cramer said he’s sticking with FWLT even though the stock is down from its highs.

Jim’s charitable trust owns Foster Wheeler.
