Dear Cramer: With all I hear about the immense natural gas reserves we have, why is my winter heating bill over $200 per month? Why not bring more gas online to lower that cost and help us out in these times of economic stress? --Roy
Cramer says: "It’s come down. It’s down $1 over last year. I think that’s very positive for the American consumer…it’s a storage issue. We don’t have a lot of storage for natural gas. It’s also a production issue. These big companies tend to shut production down when natural gas comes down too far because they don’t make enough money. I know from the point of view as a natural gas shareholder, people want these to not pump as much...it’s not going to come down that much more because oil is so expensive and they price it off oil."
