If you're a spy (or play one on TV) the kinds of things made by this company make you feel like a kid in a candy store. According to FLIR's website, the firm is the global leader in infrared cameras, night vision and thermal imaging systems.

Of course it's not just CIA wannabe's who love their stuff. The company has been supplying thermography and night vision equipment to science, industry, law enforcement and the military for over 30 years.

They have a great balance sheet and they’ve been growing their revenues nicely, explains Finerman. Also I think they’re attractively priced and they’re trading at 15 times earnings.

In addition, rival Axsys Technologies was taken over by General Dynamics at a considerable premium. I’m not saying FLIR is a takeover target but the deal gives you a sense of its relative value.
