On August 3rd, the Ambassador made an upside call on Alcoa, saying "I'm worried about commodity prices going up and I'm worried mostly about aluminum going up, and I think this is a great looking chart. I'd own Alcoa here, and I do."
Turned out that Seymour was right on target, as the price of Aluminum jumped and shares of Alcoa followed, with the stock up 16%.
Karen Finerman
On August 4th, the Chairwoman called a bottom in real estate, looking at homebuilder Centex, saying "I think that Centex full-team merger was really a watershed event. That you had two guys with strong balance sheets coming together... I am long Centex. I actually think the bottom."
A good call from Finerman, since she made the call, shares of the home builder are up Up 10% after a competitor saw net contracts for new homes climb for the first time in four years.
