In the wake of the record breaking weekend, BoxOfficeMojo compiled a list of the all-time highest grossing weekends for Hollywood films, which are typically summer or winter weekends with several highly anticipated releases hitting US theaters. The totals include the 12 highest grossing movies from each weekend, which represents a significant majority of total box office revenues in any given weekend.
