A techonomist is a radically out-of-the-box thinker. Looking at the world in ways different than the rest of us do, the techonomist asks "Why not?" and invents new approaches that the average person doesn't consider. These new approaches might be ridiculed at first, but eventually the advances that they represent simply can't be ignored, and are adopted to the betterment of the world.
Today's techonomists, people like Bill Gates, Stephen Hawking and Steve Jobs, have a long line of people who came before them, without whom they would never have been able to envision an iPad, much less invent one. How much do you know about the techonomists of the past? Take our quiz and find out.
