Limelight Elbows in on Akamai Territory?

Cramer thinks he may have found another Internet tsunami winner: Limelight Networks.

The company operates its own private content delivery network that allows customers to bypass the crowded public Internet, pushing content like video, music and games to your computer more quickly. This prevents the skips, freezes and paused downloads that can ruin your online experience.

Limelight held its first ever analyst day earlier this month and announced it would take its proprietary network one step further by offering cloud-computing and mobile services. This puts Limelight in direct competition with Akamai , another Internet speed-up play, but Limelight management has said it sees the two operating in a harmonious duopoly a la FedEx and UPS .

Cramer thought this was quite the bold statement, so he invited Chairman and CEO Jeff Lunsford onto the show. Watch the video for the full interview.
