DEADLY SECRETS - Tuesday, February 21st

The Man Behind WikiLeaks
An interview/profile of Julian Assange, the founder of the website WikiLeaks, which solicits and publishes secret and suppressed material from whistleblowers around the world.  This has included classified military and diplomatic information. The U.S. government would like to charge him with espionage for releasing all of this material.

Combustible Dust
A report on the deaths and property damage at American factories due to dust explosions, which occur when materials such as sugar, corn, or metal are ground into dust, and once airborne, can be ignited by the smallest spark.  Among those interviewed are Carolyn Merritt, former head of the Chemical Safety Board and Ed Foulke of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

Facebook
An interview/profile of Mark Zuckerberg, the founder and CEO of Facebook, the social networking website, on the occasion of the release of the site’s newly designed profile page.
Also interviewed are Kara Swisher, editor, All Things Digital website; Chris Cox, head of product development, Facebook; Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, Harvard classmates of Zuckerberg.

The Co-Founder
A profile of Paul Allen, the co-founder, with Bill Gates,  of Microsoft, on the occasion of Allen’s newly-published memoir, “Idea Man”.  Allen describes his relationship over the years with Gates and the steps that led to the development of the personal computer.
