Cramer: What to Watch Next Week

What follows is Cramer's "Game Plan" for the week of Monday, Jan. 31.

MONDAY, JAN. 31

Exxon Mobil : The oil giant is scheduled to report quarterly earnings before Monday's opening bell. Cramer hopes company executives will discuss natural gas, as well as rising oil prices.

Manitowoc : The construction machinery company will deliver earnings after Monday's closing bell. Cramer thinks the Manitowoc, Wis.-based company has "made a lot of smart moves lately" and is "downright eager" to recommend this stock.

Novellus Systems : Cramer expects this semiconductor to report positive earnings after Monday's close. Company executives have said a semiconductor capital equipment renaissance is just getting started, so Cramer wants to know if that's true.

TUESDAY, FEB. 1

Cummins : The "Mad Money" host will test his truck bull market thesis when Cummins reports earnings ahead of Tuesday's opening bell. Cramer has a good feeling about Cummins, especially after Navistar reported strong results and Eaton spoke positively of the industry. Still, he noted Cummins is a cautious company that tends to under promise and over deliver.

Emerson Electric : This energy name will report earnings before the bell on Tuesday. When it comes to "cyclical smokestack execution," Cramer said Emerson is "the best." He's interested to see if it can deliver a beat.

Broadcom : Cramer is looking forward to when this mobile Internet tsunami play reports quarterly earnings after Tuesday's close. He expects the semiconductor will have positive results.

WEDNESDAY, FEB. 2

Allergan : The maker of Botox and other medical aesthetics is one of few drug companies with growth, Cramer said. When the company reports earnings before Wednesday's opening bell, Cramer hopes to hear about a new migraine drug that he thinks could send the stock higher.

Whirlpool : The appliance maker has been heavily shorted ahead of the quarter, Cramer said. He thinks the shorts will get squeezed, though, because he expects Whirlpool to report positive earnings before the opening bell on Wednesday.

Vulcan Materials : After the closing bell, Cramer will listen to Vulcan's conference call to see if aggregate prices are rising because of Australia's floods and the need to rebuild.

Yum! Brands : Cramer is looking forward to Yum!'s earnings results, which the company plans to release after Wednesday's close. The operator of KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut restaurant chains has great exposure to China, so Cramer thinks Yum! will give an accurate read on the People's Republic.

THURSDAY, FEB. 3

Dow Chemical : Before Thursday's opening bell, Cramer will be watching for Dow Chemical to report earnings. The company has boasted of a great quarter and Cramer recommends betting with them because their biggest cost, natural gas, is relative low right now.

International Paper : Cramer will watch for earnings results from this company before Thursday's opening bell. Having recently restructured, Cramer is bullish on International Paper.

Starwood Hotels : Having liked this stock for a long time, Cramer is sticking with Starwood Hotels. He recommends keeping tabs on its earnings release due after Thursday's close.

National Fuel Gas : After Thursday's closing bell, NFG will report earnings. Cramer thinks this is one to watch.

FRIDAY, FEB. 4

Weyerhaeuser : With lumber prices skyrocketing and housing hitting bottom, Cramer will be looking for Weyerhaeuser to report earnings before the bell on Friday.

When this story was published, Cramer's charitable trust owned Cummins and Weyerhaeuser.
