Pops & Drops: Eastman Chemical, Motorola Mobility...

Following are moves you might have missed this week. Find out why shares of Eastman Chemical popped while Motorola Mobility and American Airlines dropped.

POPS (stocks that jumped higher)

Eastman Chemical (EMN) popped 5% this week. Despite higher oil the company raised its guidance and said demand for its products was brisk in January and February. - I'd take profits, counsels Brian Kelly.

DROPS (stocks that slid lower)

Motorola Mobility (MMI) dropped 14%. An earlier than expected launch of Apple’s second generation iPad triggered speculation that this company’s rival tablet called the Xoom had lost a critical window of opportunity to win audience. - I'd play it long Apple, says Karen Finerman.

Weatherford Int’l (WFT) dropped 14%. The company disclosed errors in its tax accounting and will need to adjust previously reported results. - In the space I like Baker Hughes, says Joe Terranova.

AMR Corp. (AMR) dropped 8%. Investors sold the parent of American Airlines as well as its rivals fearing higher oil would 1) squeeze profit margins and 2) drag down vacation travel. - If oil continues higher this stock probably goes lower, says Pete Najarian.
