Halftime: 4 Stocks 'Fast' Traders Are Watching

Stocks pared their earlier gains in thin trading Monday amid the lack of economic news and as investors awaited the start of earnings season.

The "Fast Money" traders thought these to be the most interesting stocks by midday trading:

Altria Group (MO) popped 2%: "You're always worried about legal action with the cigarette companies and at this point, I think that's really the headwinds have dissipated," Stuart Frankel's Steve Grasso said. "I would look at Lorillard . It looks like it's a little too high flying now on a technical basis."

NYSE Euronext (NYX) dropped 2%: The stock exchange operator's stock is up all the time, trader Pete Najarian said. After the NYSE rejected the ICE-NASDAQ buyout, though, NYX shares bounced around, but have held onto the $37 level.

Marvell Technology Group (MRVL) dropped 2%: "I think this is a chip name that the demand of the wireless world is going to do better than some of the components of the SMH," said Zachary Karabell, president of RiverTwice Research.

The SMH , by the way, is an exchange-traded fund that tracks semiconductors.

Shaw Group (SHAW) dropped 1.5%: Kanundrum Capital founder Brian Kelly said he'd stay away from this name.
