Lightning Round: Northern Oil and Gas, Alcoa, National Grid and More

Northern Oil and Gas: Cramer has been behind NOG, but is now less sure about this oil and gas stock. Not only has the oil and gas sector gotten weak, he noted issues have been raised about its accounting practices. Cramer said he’s been jarred by the accounting issues and feels the momentum has left the stock.

Gilead Sciences : This stock has yet to catch up with the rest of the health care segment, the “Mad Money” host said. Cramer thinks it is way too cheap and recommends buying shares.

Vodafone Group : Cramer is bullish on this wireless communications company. He likes its high yield.

Alcoa : Cramer said he won’t comment on rumors surrounding a bid on this aluminum company, but he believes the stock is “darn cheap.” Whether or not a takeover happens, Cramer maintains it will likely be the Dow's best performing stock in 2011.

National Grid : This is one of the British stocks you can get behind, Cramer said. It is a 4 percent yielder with consistent growth. Buy, buy buy.

When this story was published, Cramer's charitable trust owned Alcoa.
