Pops & Drops: Sodastream, Sony...

Following are moves you might have missed. Find out why shares of Sodastream and First Financial popped while Sony and Green Mountain Coffee dropped.

POPS (stocks that jumped higher)

Sodastream (SODA) popped 3%.Published reports suggested that people may quickly come to prefer diet drinks made by the company’s beverage machines, saying they were tastier than either Coke or Pepsi. - I would not be in this stock, says Brian Kelly.

First Financial (FFBC) popped 5%. Baird upgraded the stock to ‘Outperfrom’ from “Neutral’ and raised its price target to $21 from $19 citing the bank’s move to buy branches of Liberty Savings Bank. - Wouldn't touch this one either, says Joe Terranova.

Starbucks (SBUX) popped 3%. BMO upgraded the stock to ‘Outperform’ from ‘Market Perform’ and upped its price target to $45 from $40 saying one-time cost pressures are masking Starbucks’ true earnings power. - I wouldn't chase it, but on a pull back I'd take a look, says Pete Najarian.

DROPS (stocks that slid lower)

Green Mountain Coffee (GMCR) dropped 2%.A popular website contacted the SEC alleging the company had made Reg FD violations. - In the space I prefer Starbucks, says Joe Terranova.

Sony (SNE) dropped 3%. Yet again, hackers attacked the company’s computers, this time in Europe. - There's no reason to buy, says Guy Adami.

Cheniere Energy (LNG) dropped 7%. The move may have been technical; with shares trading at or near their 52-week highs, perhaps investors took profits.

Lorillard (LO) dropped 7%. Call it a Barron’s trounce, the widely followed financial magazine saidthis cigarette maker was most vulnerable to a forthcoming FDA decision, that could limit sales of menthol cigarettes. - I think it has more room on the downside, says Guy Adami.
