IBM turns 100 this week with Big Blue coming a long way from selling meat slicers and industrial clocks back in 1911.
Today the company is among the biggest firms in the world, employing nearly a half million people with a market cap of $198 billion.
But stocks don't move on past accomplishments; they move on the future expectations.
Considering the company has thrived for generations, is it a safe bet that they continue to prosper in the years ahead?
Trader Guy Adami sure thinks so.
Looking at the strength in management and the diversity of their business, he thinks the stock has a lot of upside.
"IBM said they’d make $20/share by 2015 and I think they will," he says. "Even if you give them a 9 multiple the stock should be bear $180."
