Top Traders Watching 6 Stocks

Although stocks ended higher Thursday, the “Fast Money” traders were watching these market movers:

Halliburton : With oil prices rising, trader Joe Terranova likes this oil and gas equipment and services provider’s stock. He prefers Baker Hughes , though.

Viacom : After the media company earned more than analysts predicted, trader Tim Seymour said shares popped. Viacom owns MTV Networks and Comedy Central, but most of the increase came from its Paramount Pictures division.

Dynergy : This Houston, Texas-based utility is in bankruptcy, trader Brian Kelly said. Therefore, he recommends investors avoid this stock.

Melco Crown Entertainment : Trader Guy Adami likes this casino operator’s latest quarterly results. He’s a buyer should the stock drop to $9.50 a share.

Windstream : This is a volatile stock, trader Stephen Weiss said. He thinks it’s an attractive equity nevertheless.

Liz Claiborne : The company reported a surprise quarterly profit, options trader Mike Khouw said.
