Chesapeake - Blackrock has increased its stakein the energy company by at least 4 million to 5 million shares, according to sources. Chesapeake gained in extended-hours trading. (Click here for after-hours quote.)

Verifone - The electronic payment technology provider posted earnings of 64 cents a share, excluding one-time items, edging past expectations for 61 cents a share. But shares plunged in extended-hours trading after the firm handed in a disappointing third-quarter and full-year guidance. (Click here for after-hours quote.)

Salesforce.com - Oppenheimer upgraded the firm to "outperform" from "perform." Shares edged higher in extended-hours trading. (Click here for after-hours quote.)

Rosetta Genomics - The molecular diagnostics company announced it named Ron Kalfus as its new CFO. Shares continued to climb in extended-hours trading after surging more than 40 percent in the regular session. Interestingly, shares have surged nearly 1,000 percent in the last eight trading sessions. (Click here for after-hours quote.)

Infoblox - The computer networking company posted earnings of 5 cents a share on revenue of $43 million, beating expectations for 1 cent a share on sales of $41 million. In addition, the company handed in a better-than-expected quarterly guidance, sending shares sharply higher in extended-hours trading. (Click here for after-hours quote.)

Bunge - The food processing company boosted its quarterly dividend from 25 cents a share to 27 cents a share. Shares edged higher in extended-hours trading. (Click here for after-hours quote.)
