Qualcomm - The telecommunications equipment company announced it has acquired DesignArt Networks, silicon provider for 4G infrastructure products. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. (Click here for extended-hours quote.)

Salesforce.com - The global enterprise software company posted earnings of 42 cents a share, ex-items, on revenue of $732 million, edging past expectations for 39 cents a share on revenue of $728 million.

Meanwhile, the company handed in current-quarter profit guidance that missed estimates. But its current-quarter revenue and full-year 2013 earnings outlook were mostly in line with projections. Still, shares slipped in extended-hours trading. (Click here for extended-hours quote.)

Autodesk - The computer-software company posted earnings of 48 cents a share, ex-items, on revenue of $569 million, missing expectations for 49 cents a share on revenue of $593 million. In addition, the company handed in current-quarter profit and sales estimates that disappointed analysts. Shares tanked in after-hours trading. (Click here for extended-hours quote.)

Aruba Networks - The computer networking company posted earnings of 18 cents a share, ex-items, on revenue of $139 million, topping expectations for 17 cents a share on revenue of $137 million. Shares soared in extended-hours trading. (Click here for extended-hours quote.)

Brinker - The restaurant chain increased its quarterly dividend by 25 percent to 20 cents a share from 16 cents a share. The company's board also authorized an additional $500 million in share repurchases. Shares gained in extended-hours trading. (Click here for extended-hours quote.)

Watson Pharmaceuticals , Endo Health Solutions - Watson received final approval from the FDA on its lidocaine topical patch, the generic version of Endo's Lidoderm. Watson plans to launch the product in September of 2013. (Click here for extended-hours quote.)
