How Tesla became so popular in Norway

Norway is the world leader when it comes to electric vehicle adoption. 82% of new car sales were electric in 2023. Tesla sold over 23,000 Model Ys in Norway last year, significantly more than its top competitors there, Volkswagen and Skoda. Tesla accounted for about 20% of all vehicles sold in the country last year and 2023 marked the third year in a row that Tesla was the top car brand in Norway. CNBC traveled to Norway to find out why the Scandanvian country is so important for Tesla.
