Jay Leno’s Garage

Jay Leno is a big fan of police cars but he's never seen a Tesla version. That's because there's only one. So far. If these bad boys make it into the police fleet, criminals should beware.

Jay Leno gets a crash course in how to executes a PIT (Precision Immobilization Technique) developed by the police to disable cars without having to ram it.

Meet the BatCat. Nope, it has nothing to do with Batman. This $1 million dollar machine was created to be the LAPD's bomb disposal machine.

A hardworking man's work is never done. In the middle of his shoot for Jay Leno's Garage, a UPS deliveryman interrupts Jay. Might be the closest the delivery guy has ever been to a Batmobile.

Jay settles into in the 2016 Batmobile—a massive machine seemingly made of buttons, much to Jay's chagrin.

Who better to pick up in a Batmobile than Zack Snyder, director of Batman vs. Superman. Jay and Zach take a quick drive but the vehicle is so loud they can't event hear each other. Guess Batman is the strong, silent type.

As soon as Jay drops off Zach he runs into Adam West in HIS Batmobile. Mr. West played the caped crusader on TV in the 60s and he's still got it.

You don't see much of the Segway in the media, except for Mall Cop, but the tiny people mover is quite popular as a police vehicle. It's not very fast but it's small enough to go places that cars can't.

Jay and Dan Aykroyd go way back. Funny thing, they share a love of police memorabilia in addition to comedy. That said, it should come as no surprise that they decide to visit the local police museum.

While at the police museum, they happen to find the new Ghostbusters vehicle, the Ecto-1. Time for a test drive! This is the same Cadillac S&S Hearse that will appear in the new Ghostbusters movie reboot.

Dan Jeffery, Jay's sound guy used to be in the Marines and, as such he's very familiar with the MRAP, the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected military vehicle. It's so heavy that even the door weighs 400 pounds—watch your fingers!

Donald Osborne, Jay's favorite car appraiser assesses three vintage police cars. All three have increased in value but the 1966 Alfa Romeo Guilia has appreciated the most. Some would say it looks the best too.
