The Profit: Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlour and Restaurant

Share

When Marcus arrives at Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour and Restaurant he quickly learns that Mike, the company CEO, is a hugger.

Right in the middle of meeting Mike, Marcus hears a very loud birthday song ring out. It's nice but way too loud.

Soon Marcus meets Paul, the president of the company. When Marcus asks him about the revenue for the restaurant, he and Mike disagree and laugh about it. Uh oh.

Marcus talks to Sandy and Shauna about the candyshop and, while he does, he quickly notices that there is a lot of tension between the two of them.

Marcus meets Travis, the regional director, and Marcusis immediately impressed. Travis seems to have an excellent handle on what's wrong within Farrell's.

Marcus and Travis examine the oversized food portions that Farrell's is currently known for. The two of them agree that they're losing money by giving away so much food.

Once a deal is struck, Marcus assembles the troops to explain that he's now in charge and he'll be making lots of changes to ensure that Farrell's becomes profitable.

In an effort to teach the Farrell's executive team about providing a quality customer experience, Marcus takes them all to Universal Studios to show them how the big companies do it.

When confronted by her tendency to go behind theback of the Farrell's employees to complain to her CEO father, Shauna sheds a few tears.

Thanks to Marcus, the Farrell's team is able to a strike a deal to make custom ice cream for even less than they currently spend for store bought ice cream.

Because he is so impressed with him, Marcus makes Travis an actual partner with an equity stake of 5% in the Farrell's business.

The candy shop returns! Under Shauna's watchful eye, the new candy store is great for customers and also for Marcus, since the profit margins are so high.
