Steve Cohen’s Point72 up 7.5% in Q1

Point72 Asset Management, the personal management firm of billionaire Steve Cohen, looks to have outperformed during the first quarter, based on early reports.

Point72 Asset Management saw an upside of about 7.5 percent during the first quarter on assets of about $11 billion, sources with knowledge of the matter said.

As of December 31 2014, the fund's top holdings included Rackspace, Tyson Foods and Facebook.

Point72 had $3 billion in gross profits in 2014, the year in which it became a family office.
