Disgraced lawyer Michael Cohen entered federal prison on Monday to begin his three-year sentence for crimes that include ones he committed to benefit his former client, President Donald Trump.

Cohen, 53, arrived at the Federal Correctional Institution in Otisville, New York, less than two hours after telling reporters outside his Manhattan residence that, "I hope that when I rejoin my family and friends that the country will be in a place without xenophobia, injustice and lies at the helm."
