Haben Girma was born without hearing or vision, but refuses to be hindered by her ability status—she dances, practices comedy, surfs, and frequently travels the world. In 2013, she became the first and only deafblind student to graduate from Harvard Law. Despite her accomplishments, she is adamant about not being called "inspirational."
