For folks looking to nab unlimited pasta from Olive Garden for $100, it's too late.
The Never Ending Pasta passes, which went on sale at 2 p.m. ET, sold out in less than a second, according to a company spokeswoman.
The 21st annual promotion bumped up the number of passes it sold this year tenfold. Last year, the Italian restaurant chain sold out of 2,000 passes in less than a minute.
Starting Oct. 3, those who were able to obtain a pasta pass will be treated to seven weeks of unlimited pasta, sauces and toppings, soup or salad, breadsticks and Coca-Cola-branded soft drinks. In addition, the company has added Chicken Alfredo to the lineup of free pastas.
If you didn't get your hands on a pasta pass on Thursday, don't worry. The company is auctioning off 21 additional passes on eBay, but they'll likely cost you more than $100. Proceeds from the auction will be donated to Feeding America.
At the time of publication, bids for the 21 passes ranged from $440 to $750. The auctions close on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
