Bullishness on Amazon is surging: Social media data

Shares in Amazon saw a spike in bullish mentions on Twitter in the past week as investors get more optimistic about the internet giant's gains in the e-commerce and cloud computing markets.

Social Market Analytics, which scans posts on social networks to form predictive trading signals, found that Amazon had among the five-biggest increases in bullish sentiment among major U.S. stocks in the last five trading days.

Morgan Stanley told investors Wednesday that Amazon Prime's subscriber base has surged to 60 million members, according to the firm's analysis.
