President Donald Trump pledged his support for African-Americans to help bridge a divided country, after he toured the National Museum of African-American History and Culture in Washington, D.C.

Malaysian officials say they have not yet determined the cause of death for Kim Jong Nam, the estranged half brother of North Korean ruler Kim Jong Un. The brother died last week after apparently being poisoned in a Kuala Lumpur airport.

Fire crews rescued some two dozen homeless people from a flooded California golf course this morning. An aerial view of the scene showed them in waist-deep water, wading with a raft, to those stranded on small areas of dry land. No one was injured.
