If you're looking for a few ways to get more out of your Galaxy S8, we have a few ideas.

We've used most of the products below and have been impressed by what each offers. They're all made by Samsung, too, so you know they'll work just fine with your shiny new Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+.

Check out a few of the great new accessories Samsung offers for the S8 below.

Charge wirelessly without waiting forever

Samsung

Wireless charging stands have been around for years, but this new convertible one from Samsung is the best yet. It has two modes, a lay-flat mode and a propped-up mode. The former is great for stowing during travel while I prefer the latter at my desk. It charges the Galaxy S8 (or any of Samsung's wireless charging smartphones) quickly and effortlessly. Just drop the phone on and, boom, a small indicator light lets you know the charging has started.

Get a smartwatch

Samsung

It's an expensive accessory but one Galaxy fans will appreciate. The Gear S3 is available in two models, a classic and a more rugged frontier, and syncs beautifully with the Galaxy S8. I love that it supports all of my Android apps for notifications, like breaking news alerts from CNBC, and also that it has a more traditional watch design and doesn't look too "geeky."

It's water and dust resistant so you don't need to worry about it in the shower, offers a few days of battery life and can keep track of your workouts and heart rate. I typically prefer the Apple Watch for its huge array of apps, but this smartwatch is a close second.

Take fast-charging on the go

Samsung

One of the best features of the Galaxy S8 is its support for fast charging, which means you don't need to spend a lot of time sitting at the outlet. Samsung recently introduced a battery pack that offers this support, too, which means you can charge quickly on the go. It offers enough juice for almost two full charges.

A cover that doubles as a stand

Samsung

I'm still in search of the perfect Galaxy S8 case, but Samsung's Clear View standing cover is pretty darn solid so far. It protects the phone and its display while also allowing you to view and interact with notifications by swiping the clear front cover. When you're not protecting the phone, you can flip the cover around to prop up your Galaxy S8 while watching your favorite show on Netflix. A small magnet helps keep the flap closed, too, which is important.

Is it a phone or a computer?

Samsung

The $199 DeX Station isn't out yet — it's still up for pre-order — but it's the accessory I'm most excited for. When it launches, you'll be able to turn your Galaxy S8 into a more traditional computer, interacting with it through a full display with a keyboard and mouse.

This should make completing work in Microsoft Word or Excel much easier than tapping away on a smartphone, though you'll still be able to receive phone calls and text messages, all from a desktop environment. It even supports virtual desktop solutions such as Citrix Receiver, Amazon WorkSpaces and VMware Horizon Client, so you can tap into your Windows-powered work computer remotely, so long as your IT department lets you.
