Fred Wilson, one of the most prominent venture capitalists in tech, is protesting the FCC's new net neutrality proposals on his popular blog this week.

When readers access the blog they are greeted with a message that shows them what it would be like to have to wait for their content. (See the screenshot below.) Users are then prompted to sign a petition to send to Congress and call their Congressman to block the proposal the FCC approved on Thursday.
The proposal Wilson is up in arms about would essentially enable--or arguably force--companies to pay Internet service providers to allow them to gain access to fast lanes that would prioritize content.
Basically, this means that if the proposal passes larger Internet companies that can afford to shell out big bucks for faster service will have a significant advantage over those that cannot pay up.
