Live blog: Apple earnings reactions

Tech giant Apple posted earnings of $1.28 a share on revenue of $37.4 billion for the third quarter. Analysts were expecting the company to earn $1.23 a share on revenue of $37.98 billion. Even more, though, they were looking for signs of new products on the horizon.
