Graco strollers recalled for finger injuries

Baby product maker Graco is recalling 11 models of strollers for possible finger injuries including amputation, the company said in a statement.

Models included in the recall are Aspen, Breeze, Capri, Cirrus, Glider, Kite, LiteRider, Sierra, Solara, Sterling and TravelMate manufactured between August 1, 2000 and September 25, 2014. The strollers feature a sliding lock that can hurt fingers when the product is being folded.

Graco said it received 11 reports of finger injuries ranging from lacerations to fingertip amputations.

About 4.7 million strollers will be recalled in the United States, 202,000 in Canada and around 10,300 in Mexico. The strollers were sold at Target, Toys R Us, Wal-Mart, Amazon and other retail stores between August 2000 and November this year.
