Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has weighed in on questions ranging from artificial intelligence to telepathic thoughts during a public Q&A session on his Facebook page.
Zuckerberg said Tuesday that his company is working on artificial intelligence and says he hopes Facebook could deliver on it in the next decade.

Rajeev Chand, managing director and head of mobile research at Rutberg & Co., told CNBC he thinks artificial artificial intelligence is a fundamental trend in technology.
Chand says AI is about deep learning and machine learning, where machines teach themselves rather than relying on software written by humans.

"We think artificial intelligence is a fundamental trend in technology," Chand said. "We think AI is at least as big, if not bigger, than mobile itself as a platform for technology," he added.
During the Q&A, Zuckerberg also said he believes people will be able to communicate telepathically through technology. He wrote that he believes one day we'll be able to send thoughts and experiences to each other directly.
"One day, I believe we'll be able to send full rich thoughts to each other directly using technology," Zuckerberg wrote in a Facebook comment. "You'll just be able to think of something and your friends will immediately be able to experience it too, if you'd like. This would be the ultimate communication technology."
