Unhappy hour: Truck overturns, spills beer on highway

Florida Highway Patrol investigators confirmed that a tractor-trailer carrying Budweiser beer crashed on I-75 southbound in Hernando County on Tuesday. (Tweet this.)

The driver, Malcolm Wilcox, was distracted by a small dog in the truck's cabin and lost control of the vehicle, according to a report by the Florida Highway Patrol.

Initially, the big rig traveled onto the outside shoulder of the highway, but Wilcox over-corrected, collided with the center median guardrail and over turned.

No one was injured in the crash, however the inside lane of I-75 was shut down for more than three hours. Wilcox was ticketed for careless driving.
