Top trader: Buy this oil stock for beta

Stephanie Link, whose "Halftime Report" model portfolio is up 11 percent this year, is replacing Concho Resources in favor of Weatherford International.

Link is leading CNBC Pro's competition and aims to stay there with her moves.

"Taking my 21 percent gain in Concho Resources and adding more beta with an oil services company," Link wrote in a email.

Higher beta means a stock is more volatile than the market. If the S&P 500 goes up into 2016, Weatherford will likely do better than the benchmark.
