Shareholder Discontent at Biogen, Yahoo, CSX

Institutional Shareholder Services, the firm that advises institutions on shareholder votes, is making some recommendations.

On Biogen Idec [BIIB  Loading...      ()   ], currently in a dispute with corporate shareholder activist Carl Icahn, ISS is recommending against voting for a dissident slate. ISS will also be involved in making a recommendation on Yahoo [  Loading...      ()   ] where Carl Icahn is also agitating for a reexamination of a deal with Microsoft [MSFT  Loading...      ()   ].

In the meantime, ISS can also be expected to make a recommendation in a CSX [CSX  Loading...      ()   ] proxy fight before the railroad's shareholder meeting.
