Biggest Bankruptcies

It seems fitting that kicking off our top slideshow list would be ... bankruptcy. Lehman Brothers, after all, was a major headline of the year. And at $639 billion, it dwarfed all the rest, as our slideshow on the Top Ten Chaper 11 Bankruptcies pointed out. The 10th largest here was only $25.2 billion ... barely enough for an auto bailout these days, right?
