Here's how much you have to earn to be in the top 0.01% in every US state

According to a 2013 Economic Policy Institute report, to be in the top 0.01 percent nationally, a family needs an annual income of $8.3 million. And that number just represents the threshold — the average income of this elite group nationwide is $26.1 million.

Read on to see just how much money the top one percent of the one percent pull in across each U.S. state.
