The key 10-year Treasury yield dipped Thursday as investors digested the Federal Reserve's policy update and a big sell-off in commodities.

The yield on the benchmark 10-year Treasury note fell 5.3 basis points to 1.516% at 4:00 p.m. ET. The yield on the 30-year Treasury bond dropped 9.6 basis points to 2.113%. Yields move inversely to prices. One basis point is 0.01%.
