Christian Bale will not be playing Steve Jobs. The actor decided to withdraw from the Apple biopic after coming to the conclusion that he was not right for the part.
Bale is the second actor to receive an offer for Jobs. Leonardo DiCaprio was also considered for the role, but bowed out to shoot The Revenant.

The Sony project, directed by Danny Boyle, has Seth Rogan in discussions to play the part of Steve Wozniak, although no official offer has been made.
The picture is still slated to begin shooting this winter penned by Academy and Emmy Award winning writer, Aaron Sorkin and based off Walter Isaacson's critically acclaimed biography of Jobs.
